Software Engineer (ServiceNow)

Key Responsibilities:  

• Design and develop custom user interfaces for the ServiceNow platform, primarily using Service Portal.  
• Build and modify ServiceNow widgets using AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.  
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and business analysts to transform business requirements into user-friendly designs.  
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across all devices.  
• Build reusable components, custom widgets, and responsive layouts for ServiceNow.  
• Integrate APIs and GlideRecord calls to retrieve and display data from the ServiceNow database.  
• Optimize performance and loading speed of portal components.  
• Maintain code quality, documentation, and follow ServiceNow best practices for development.  
• Participate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning and daily standup  

 
Education and Experience:  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.  
• 2+ years of experience in front-end development.  

 
Skills/Attributes:  

• Strong proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS (used in ServiceNow Portal), Bootstrap and responsive design  
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON data structures.  
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
