Objective of the Position:
The Network Supervisor at the client site will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of high-quality and efficient network services. This role serves as the team leader for Managed Services, ensuring operations meet client standards and expectations, specifically with experience in managing services related to Cisco ACI and Cisco SD-WAN.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and control the operation of network systems within the client site.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly.
• Experience in managing network services, including a focus on Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and Cisco SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network).
• Implement and oversee Cisco ACI and SD-WAN solutions to enhance application connectivity and network automation.
• Utilize various network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG) to track network performance, detect anomalies, and ensure system reliability.
• Analyze data from monitoring tools to identify trends and optimize performance.
• Lead and manage the Managed Service team to deliver exceptional service to clients.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations regarding network services.
• Prepare performance reports and progress updates on service delivery for clients.
• Assist in planning and implementing new network systems, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with security measures and standards within the network.
• Analyze and respond to potential security issues as they arise.
• Develop processes and procedures to enhance service efficiency and responsiveness to client needs.
• Introduce innovations and new technologies to improve service quality.
• Maintain organized documentation related to service delivery and network operations.
• Compile necessary reports and documents for communication with management and clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in network management and client service within a Managed Service environment.
• Proven experience in managing Cisco ACI services and familiarity with Cisco SD-WAN.
• Proficiency in using network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG or etc.
• Knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewall, VLAN, and others.
• Strong team management and communication skills, both internally and externally.
• ITIL knowledge is preferred; ITIL certification is a plus.
• Certifications in networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Cisco ACI) are preferred.
• Ability to manage conflicts and work effectively under pressure.
